Ishika knows that most of our complex ideas cannot be expressed simply, so her use of unlikely colour-combinations expose an emotional response in her viewers that can be surprisinlgy wild at times!
Ishika loves poetry and many of her artworks are heavily inspired by Charles Bukowski, Ogden Nash, Robert Frost, Rudyard Kipling, Jibanananda Das or Sylvia Plath! The emotions and the messages their powerful poems carry-spark those butterfly glitches for Ishika that inspire her to translate them into her own form of poetries- her abstracts!
Ishika’s colours do mingle together ever so lightly to create all those wordless dialogues. To Ishika- art is colour-play, art is free! All those little happy accidents while painting- those delightful messes while splashing her colours out- the whole process of making art and letting things go- is her joyful ride. Art for Ishika is nothing but a blissful mess !
